Rev. Carmen Dugas-Mattatall
Rev. Carmen Dugas-Mattatall has been a member of the SSF since 1990. Since that time, has attended and actively lead Sunday services and classes And has supported a number of SSF events and fundraisers such as: our auctions, the used book table, psychic fairs, pot-lucks parties … and much more in support of the Halifax/Dartmouth SSF Chapter. Carmen has been involved ever since the first service she attended.
At the Montreal conference in 1997, Carmen enrolled as a student with “The International College of Spiritual and Psychic Sciences”. In May 2001 received certificates in the Lay Ministry for “Spiritual Healing”, “Inspirational Speaking”, “Clairvoyance”. In May 2004 at the Montreal Conference, Carmen was officially Ordained as a SSF Interfaith Minister. Then in September 2004, Carmen received her “Bachelor of Therapeutic Counseling” degree from The Open International University for Complementary Medicines and Medicina Alternative Institute. Currently she is working towards her Masters degree. In addition, she is a Reiki Master.
Carmen serves on the board of the local SSF chapter, as treasurer. Carmen was appointed in 2008, by the president and founder of the Spiritual Science Fellowship, Dr. Marilyn Rossner, as assistant in charge of the local SSF, under the direction of Rev. Michael Hiltz – Senior Minister of our SSF chapter. Carmen’s many volunteer duties for the SSF range from recording and processing memberships, scheduling Sunday services, organizing guest workshops and booking meeting rooms, in compiling announcements for the Newsletter and teaching Platform, Spiritual and Psychic development classes.
Carmen is married for 30 plus years and has two grown sons. Carmen is happy and blessed with a busy and full spiritual and personal life.
